I try to descale our Breville Nespresso Vertuo about every 2 months. I run regular cleanings about every 10 days.First, I'd like to know what the difference is between this Nespresso Compatible and the Breville Compatible versions.I have the Breville - and followed the included instructions, which BTW are very good thank you. The solution seemed to work well. The water that came out - (see photos) as you can see is relatively dirty with some coffee grounds in the wash. The whole process takes like 30 minutes or so. I'm guessing without the regular cleanings the descaling would result in a darker result?The good thing is this cleaner is made in the USA, the microfiber towel is a nice touch, and the price is very reasonable.Its ingredients are Citric Acid and water - which I believe is what most descaling cleaners use. Overall a good product at a reasonable price point - which makes it a good value.
